The World Health Organization (WHO) as a leader in global public health issues is committed to building future leaders in public health. The WHO internship program offers many opportunities for students to gain insight into the technical and administrative programs of the WHO.
Unfortunately, WHO tuition is not paid and all travel and accommodation costs are the responsibility of the local student or sponsoring institution.
Who are we looking for?
You are enrolled in a bachelor's degree program at a graduate school (second university degree or higher) both at the time of application and during the course.
You have completed at least three years of full-time study at a university or related institution towards completion of degrees.
You are 20 years old.
You have a bachelor's degree in the field of public health, medical or social field related to WHO technical work or degrees in a related administrative or administrative field.
You have fluency in the assignment language of the assignment office.
How can I apply?
To apply, you must submit a WHO Personal Information Form (PHF) that can be downloaded from the e-Recruitment website along with a truly signed Cover Letter. The Cover Letter should outline your motivation for applying for WHO Expertise (maximum length - three paragraphs), WHO's work area of interest and availability dates.

WHO training guidelines
The WHO training period is between 6 weeks with a maximum of 12 weeks. In fact, trains can be extended to 24 weeks to respond to specific technical requirements or specific program requirements.
WHO train is unpaid. Travel costs, travel arrangements (including visas), and living accommodation are the responsibility of the local student or their sponsoring institution.
People related to the WHO employee, i.e., son / daughter, brother / sister are not eligible for training.
Operators can only participate once in the WHO Technical Program.
Employees have no WHO staff status and will not represent the Organization in any official capacity.
WHO agents are not eligible for appointment to any vacancies within the WHO within three months after the completion of their training. Any employment by WHO at that time will be subject to employment and selection procedures.
