RESPONSIBILITIES:
i.To clean field equipment’s, storage areas;
ii.To assist in conducting crop management operations such as planting and weeding,
iii. To assist researchers in conducting agricultural research
iv.To participate in construction and rehabilitation of greenhouses and seed storage
v. To perform any other related duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Supervisor
vi. To assist in taking care of experimental fields or laboratories
vii.To assist in carrying out field harvesting operations
viii.To report of any unusual field incidence to immediate supervisor
ix.To participate in fencing of experimental plots
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Holder of Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with Certificate in any of the following fields
Agriculture
Farm Management or related qualifications from Institution/University recognized by the Government.
Candidate with at least one year field experience in agricultural research activities from Research Institution recognized by the Government will have an added advantage.
