ANNOUNCEMENT OF ACCOUNTANT'S JOB
QUALITIES AND KNOWLEDGE
Have a degree in Finance, Banking
Accounting or equivalent from a recognized college.
Must have professional qualifications. (CPA, ACCA or equivalent) with at least three years of experience in a competitive business environment
Able to work without close supervision and good understanding, honest and good manners and experience of SACCOS accounting systems
JOBS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
> Ensure income and expenditure are included in the ledger's correctly ..
> Ensure all credit information, savings, shares and member deposits are correctly inserted into the ledgers of the members
> Ensure comparisons of bank and cash transactions are performed monthly.
> Ensuring that loan repayments are made monthly according to the repayment schedule of each borrowed member.
> Non-reporting of credit status, savings and deposits of monthly members.
> Prepare monthly cash flow statement,
> Fixed asset register and staff salaries.
> Maintain a membership register correctly (members register)
> Report bad credit monthly.
> Prepare monthly Accounting Balance Report
> Prepare monthly income and expenditure statement.
> Prepare monthly balance sheet report.
> Preparing monthly budget comparisons and realities.
